Only members of VCAC are allowed to rent church facilities for a wedding. If one member of the couple is a member of VCAC, and the other is a Christian, then the renting of church facilities will be allowed. The applicants need to contact one of the pastors at least nine months prior to the wedding so that they can complete the application and a premarital counseling course. Please contact one of the Pastors for a more detailed explanation of the process for weddings at VCAC.

If you are currently a member of an evangelical church and have been baptized by water immersion, you need to:

  1. Fill out a “Transfer of Membership” form.
  2. Submit a letter of recommendation from your previous church.
  3. Take the membership class (2 sessions).
  4. Pass an interview by a pastor and elder team.

If you are not yet a Christian, then you first need to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour and Lord. And if you are already a Christian but have not yet been baptized, then you will need to complete the following:

  1. Complete Christianity 101 (a 12-session class offered during Sunday School).
  2. Fill out a “Baptism” form.
  3. Complete the membership class (2 sessions).
  4. Undergo a brief interview by a pastor and elder team.

After water baptism, you will then officially become a member of VCAC.

Fill out an offering number requisition form at the info counter. A church staff will contact you with your offering number within a week. In February/March of the following year, a tax-deductible receipt will be issued to you. If you have any questions please contact our office (604) 874-7612.
