MARIA LI

Maria landed at VCAC in 1998, after attending our gospel camp for youth. Since that time, she has served in a variety of roles within her fellowship and as a children’s Sunday school teacher. In addition to this, Maria has volunteered over many years as a leader in Scouts Canada/Girl Guides as well as a youth leader. We’re grateful that she has accepted the position of interim Children’s Ministry Director, beginning in July 2020, while she waits on God for his direction regarding next steps serving in children’s ministry.

When Maria is not working at the hospital as a respiratory therapist, she is an avid traveler, a zealous viewer of Korean dramas, an energetic hiker/camper and a fervent cat lover. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UBC and a diploma in Respiratory Therapy from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops. Maria and her husband Ricky are engaged members of our church.
