We are a vibrant, trilingual, and multi-generational church family—comprising English, Cantonese, and Mandarin congregations—seeking to be “Unified in Christ for the Mission of God.” We are seeking a reliable and warm-hearted Church Custodian to care for our facility and support our mission. In this role, you will do more than clean; you will create a safe, organized, comfortable and welcoming environment for our congregation, ministry teams, and local community members. Primary Responsibilities Perform all routine cleaning and property maintenance duties according to the established work schedule. Prepare and set up venues for events and meetings. Ensure all walkways, entrances, and parking lot are properly maintained and cleared during inclement weather. Perform minor facility repairs and maintenance tasks. Manage the opening, closing, and securing of all church venues and buildings. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Good physical health with the ability to safely perform demanding physical tasks and lift heavy objects. Communicate effectively (both verbal and written) in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin). WHIMS certification (or a willingness to obtain it upon hire). Full agreement with the Statement of Faith of The Alliance Canada. Employment Details Position: Full-time 40 hours/week Salary: $43,000–$49,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Requirement: A clean criminal record check. Work Schedule: Required to work weekends and evenings.
