She feels blessed to see children come to know Jesus from a young age, learn to rely on Him, and grow in His love. After graduating, she worked in student counseling and realized that it is the gospel of Jesus Christ that truly changes life. This motivated her to share the gospel with more children, leading them to know the Lord, follow Him, and serve Him.<\/p>\n

In 2008, she attended the Alliance Bible Seminary in Hong Kong for the Master of Divinity degree and served as a children’s pastor for over 13 years in two different churches in Hong Kong.Over the years, she has witnessed children coming to faith, accompanied them through their growth, helped them discover their gifts, and nurtured their involvement in ministry. This journey has been filled with challenges but also abundant grace.<\/p>\n

After more than a decade of pastoring in Hong Kong, she felt led by God to embark on a new ministry journey in 2024 at the Vancouver Chinese Alliance Church. Pastor Penny hopes to collaborate with a team dedicated to serving children, walking alongside more children and families, grounding their upbringing in the Bible. She aims to lead more children to know Jesus from a young age, grow in His love, and train them to serve God, guiding them on the right path so that they will not stray in their later years. This is the mission God has given her.<\/p>\n

Pastor Penny and her husband, Jacky, have two children, Ocean and Audrey. Their Chinese names are derived from Psalm 12:6, “The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.”(KJV) They hope their children will love and obey God’s words from a young age, holding fast to God’s teachings as devout and faithful individuals.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][\/vc_section]\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
